The work of Fernando Pessoa arrives in Madrid at the hand of Fundación EDP. The exhibition "PESSOA. All art is a form of literature" opens at the Museo Reina Sofía on February 6 and will be open to the public until May 7. This sponsorship is part of the cultural initiatives with which Fundación EDP aborates.

Pessoa was the creator of his own vanguard, through his more than one hundred heteronyms and his many texts, many of them unpublished.

The exhibition "PESSOA. All art is a form of literature ", takes its title from a quote by Álvaro de Campos, one of the most cutting-edge heteronyms of Fernando Pessoa (Lisbon, 1888-1935), published in the influential Portuguese magazine Presença.

The exhibition also devotes special attention to the magazines published during this period, such as A Águia, Orpheu, K4 O Quadrado Azul, Portugal Futurista or Presença, in which some of Pessoa's texts appeared and which served as a sounding board for these avant-garde ideas, exerting a great aesthetic and ideological influence on the Portuguese intelligentsia of the first half of the 20th century.
