The global initiative Saturday.Al to train youngsters in artificial intelligence, will feature EDP’s support
Inscriptions are already open to participate in the Saturday.Al program, which arrives in Asturias for the first time thanks to the energy company’s sponsorship.
Saturdays.AI, a global initiative that now lands in Asturias by the hand of the newspaper La Nueva España and with the support of EDP to train young people in artificial intelligence, kicks off on March 7. The course will be held for 14 Saturdays, that is, from March till June 20, from 9:30 till 13:30, in different locations in Asturias.
Saturdays.Al Asturias offers learning opportunities about Artificial Intelligence through practical instruction methods, promoting study groups about Machine Learning and Deep Learning. In order to attend the course, it is required to have a good base in Phyton programming language.
Saturdays.Al is a non-profit organization committed with the education and training in Artificial Intelligence through quality contents. The goal is to democratize the access to education in Artificial Intelligence with the quality and rigor of the world’s best universities. They are trainings in bootcamps format, practical workshops of 14 weeks that go over conventional education and bring technology closer to everyone through social impact projects.
The total prize for the 14 sessions is of 150€, quantity that also includes breakfasts during the sessions, merchandising and didactic resources. Moreover, a scholarship covering 75% of the course’s value is also available. All information is on their web, as well as the application’s option.
