The startup project from Madrid Green Eagle Solutions won the Seed Race. To win the prize, an investment of up to 100,000 euros from the EDP Ventures fund, the startup had to show the most remarkable evolution during 2017.

Green Eagle Solutions manages wind farms through a computer system. Also eligible for the award were the Spanish starups TRC, Plactherm, Rated Power and Sentimer Technologies, as well as other companies in Portugal and Brazil.

Seed Race is an annual event, promoted by EDP Starter, the company's startup development program, which supports projects linked to the energy sector from conception to financing.

Every year, EDP works together with the startups selected in the program, which have the opportunity, as in this edition, to present their progress in the EDP Starter Seed Race.
