The electricity, gas and services company EDP received an award for sports support and a healthy lifestyle within the framework of the presentation of the 41st EDP Rock'n'Roll Madrid Marathon & ½ held at the Casino de Madrid . With this award ceremony, the organization of the race thanks the collaboration of public entities, private companies, social organizations, media and individual protagonists who have managed to place the Madrid race, sponsored by EDP, in the elite of the world competitions.

The general commercial director of EDP in Spain, Javier Sáenz de Jubera, was in charge of collecting the award, awarded for being the energy company of reference in the world of popular sports through its great commitment to running, helping to promote the values ​​of improvement and cooperation.

Together with EDP, the Cope Group and BUSF have obtained these 2018 Awards. In addition, Arturo Casado received the award for being one of the reference athletes of the Spanish fund in the last decade. Jesús Juárez, on the other hand, was honored in his fight against the barriers of hemiparesis running 42 kilometers and 195 meters in Madrid.
