Open the deadline to apply for a EDP Foundation scholarship
The students from the University of Oviedo may apply between September 1 and 15
The EDP Foundation has opened the call for the scholarship EDP Martín González del Valle 2021/2021, aimed for 78 students from 25 specialties from the University of Oviedo, that will be doing their internship in EDP.
The internships will be developed in all areas of the company, under the supervision of the tutors that educate, help and supervise the work that the students develop, who will also take part in programs of innovation and continuous improvement.
The scholarship has a duration of 10 months, the internship is paid and will be taking place between the months of November and July.
The applications for the inscription can be carried out between September 1 and 15, through the internship platform on the website of the University of Oviedo. Thanks to the program, the most renowned from the University of Oviedo, and allocated with almost a million euros, students receive an education which is key for their incorporation to the business world.
Among the degrees which may opt to the scholarship are Industrial Technology Engineering, Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering, Business Administration and Management, Law, Chemistry or Mathematics. Postgraduates-Master students from Law, Occupational Risk Prevention, Electrical Energy Conversion and Power Systems, and Mining, Telecommunications, Energy and Industrial Engineering may also apply for the scholarship.
The Scholarships Martín González del Valle, result of the agreement with the University of Oviedo, are the most renowned internship plans of the university, as well as one of the most important initiatives developed by the EDP Foundation itself in the educational field. Since its launching in 1983, this school year they turn 37 years old, more than 100 people who have taken part in the program have incorporated to the staff of Group EDP Spain.
