The Commission selected GreenH2Atlantic, which will install around 100 MW of electrolyzers in Sines, and Asturias H2 Valley, which will transform Spain's Aboño plant and include 150 MW of electrolyzers. The Innovation Fund, which is highly competitive, only awarded support to 13 projects in the Industry Electrification and Hydrogen category.

With this result, EDP takes an important step towards achieving its strategy, enabling the simplification of its corporate structure, and providing greater flexibility in managing its integrated presence.

The agreement covers the installation of photovoltaic shelters in the parking lots of the stores of Albacete, Badajoz, Mérida and Tamaraceite, in Gran Canaria. These installations will allow Decathlon to avoid the emission of almost 350 tons of CO2 to the atmosphere per year.

Contract between Navigator and EDP for a 17 MWp solar plant will supply a further 4% of the needs of the Figueira da Foz industrial complex from clean energy alone. The project avoids more than 7,000 tons of CO2 per year and contributes to Navigator's decarbonization targets.
