The French startup develops an innovative model for the safe transport and storage of hydrogen. 

EDP Ventures has participated in the international Series A financing round, led by Equinor Ventures, with €2 million.

Both companies have sealed an agreement to study the joint production of green hydrogen within the project of up to 1 GW in the Bay of Gibraltar, within the framework of the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley

The photovoltaic solar power plant, installed next to the wind park of Mosterio, enables to create EDP’s first hybrid project of wind and solar energy and increases the production of green energy

The new solar plants, that have just been started in Brazil, have an installed power of 23 MWp. The first two projects, that are already operational, have produced more than 30 GWh of renewable energy.

The project enables businesses to reduce the electricity costs to improve their competitivity, while contributing to the transition towards a more sustainable energy model.

EDP is now launching the second phase of the collaborative innovation programme with the aim of developing innovative solutions in the fields of renewable energy and green hydrogen to drive the energy transition on a global scale. Startup applications will be open until 30 September.

It will be introduced during the Feria Internacional de Muestras de Asturias (Asturias’ International Trade Fair), through a game and learning content
