Due to the current exceptional situation, the usual technology colonies have been replaced by virtual colonies which were held during the 3 days of the Easter holidays.

The energy company has opened the "Customers in Solidarity" fund to help projects fighting the coronavirus. It will supply free energy for two months to social, business or personal initiatives for this cause.

Installed in its new Villaquilambre shop, it will cover around 40% of the new shop's consumption and avoid the emission of 40 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.

The construction of the first denitrification plant to be launched in Spain, the Thermal Power Plant of Aboño, is already finished. More than 410 000 man-hours have been needed for the construction of this first stage of the project that the company EDP approved in November 2014 for its stations in Soto and Aboño.
