Entamadores en el pabellón de EDP

EDP hosts in its FIDMA pavilion sustainable projects of local entrepreneurs

Tuesday 10, August 2021

Ten entrepreneurs will attend EDP’s pavilion daily in order to present visitors their projects, to explain EDP’s collaborations in them and to offer their products.

A touristic train propelled by a tractor, unique in Spain, to access the area of Redes’ Natural Park; sustainable coworking using recycled containers in a natural space, or one of the oldest cheeses in Spain. These are some of the projects promoted by the Entama program in its two editions, and they can now be better understood in EDP’s pavilion in the 64th edition of the International Trade Fair.

EDP’s pavilion in FIDMA has an area dedicated to sustainability and ESG criteria, which refers to environmental, social and cooperative government factors. Here, apart from games and other activities that sustain the company’s leadership in this field, there will also be an area dedicated to the projects from Asturian entrepreneurs that have taken part in the Entama project, that supports innovative entrepreneurships in the Asturian rural world. All of them work in original projects, with the ability to generate an added value to the area in a sustainable way and with future prospects.

The entamators projects that EDP’s pavilion hosts are the following:

Cowtainers: Víctor Perez is the promotor of this innovative project that engages with sustainability and contemplates, as a result of the online-working-model growth, the creation of shared working spaces, coworking, in natural spaces from rural areas, using recycled containers.

Nazca Carbono: engages with the reparation of carbon fiber components for bicycles and even canoes.

Esguil Smart: creators of the “Smuber”, an innovative individual urban and electrical vehicle made in Asturias.

Textil Llunar: a new way to understand the textile business, with feminine fashion that is respectful both to people and to the planet.

Nomadish: a digital touristic operator that integrates in a single portal an integral touristic pack of Somiedo.

Tienda bar en Rioseco: bar-shop in Redes’ Natural Park that offers all type of products, especially locals.

Estudio arquitectura: technic architectural studio that carries out projects in the area of Sobrescobio.

Tren a Brañagallones: touristic train, propelled by a low emission tractor, that consists of 19 approved seats and is a unique project in our country, “a taxi to paradise”, as its creator defines it.

Quesos La Corte: it will increase the production and commercialization of the Chasín Cheese (D.O.), a unique and artisan product, from the Quesería La Corte, in front of Tanes’ reservoir.

Las Telas de Mamá: initiative that aims to bring to all types of needlework enthusiasts the needed material to create what they have in mind, without leaving their home, through a single click.

EDP has just launched the third edition of the Entama Program for 2021-2022. It is endowed, as in previous editions, with a maximum amount of 85 000€. The people that are interested in presenting a singular project, may do it until the 20th of September.
